I'm not just a writer or author. I write, design, and build for the web. I bring together storytelling, web design, and web development to create work that feels human and works beautifully.
Nothing written perfectly on the first try ever taught anyone how to write. But something written, anything written, even the smallest line, is alive. In the small decision to write again, and again, and again. It may be rough, uneven, unsure of itself, but it exists. And that changes everything. You sit there, unsure, maybe tired, maybe distracted, and still you choose to write. That choice, simple as it sounds, is where all real writing begins.
We live in a time that moves quickly. Everything is measured, compared, displayed. It is easy to believe that only the best work deserves to be seen. That if it is not exceptional, it is not worth doing. But that belief is a quiet thief. It steals beginnings. It steals practice. It steals the chance to grow.
Writing, at its core, is an act of seeing. It asks you to slow down and look closely. At your thoughts, at your life, at the world around you. And you cannot do that if you are always waiting for the perfect moment. The perfect moment does not come. What comes is now, and now is enough. Nothing written perfectly on the first try ever built anything written to touch hearts. It is built through patience. Through showing up when it is easier not to. Through writing when you are unsure, when you are tired, when you doubt yourself.
Writing is courageous because you write what you can express right now. And that honesty is uncomfortable at first. The sentence may not sound right. The idea may feel smaller than it did in your mind. But that is part of it. That is how you learn. Now is enough. It has always been enough.
Writing requires only presence, courage, and patience. It requires a willingness to begin where you are, with what you have — because the moments when you doubt yourself are the moments that shape you. Not the easy ones, not the days when everything is easy. But the days when they are hard, and you still write anyway. Even a few lines. Even a single sentence. Those small efforts add up. They do not feel important at the time. They feel too simple, too ordinary to matter. But over time, they form a pattern. A system. A practice that becomes part of your life.
When you let go of the need to sound a certain way, you begin to sound like yourself. Your voice becomes clearer, not because you forced it, but because you stopped hiding it. And that voice, even in its early form, matters. It may not be refined. It may not be widely seen. But it is real. And real things have a way of growing when they are given space.
So you keep writing. Not because every piece will be good, but because every piece teaches you something. Not because every sentence will last, but because every sentence brings you closer to one that will.

I'm an English teacher, published author, and Bachelor of Arts graduate in Mass Communication. I was also trained in broadcasting and acting, with the goal of becoming a broadcaster for CNN Philippines and an actress for a couple of broadcasting networks in the Philippines. That was also how I came to know about Walter Isaacson, the former CEO of CNN, who wrote the biography of Steve Jobs as well as biographies of many other influential public figures. I've also been given opportunities to study Communication Research at the University of the Philippines Diliman, one of the country's leading universities and among the top universities in Asia — a program known for being one of the most competitive academic tracks in the Philippines.
I've had the opportunity to work on productions and campaigns involving well-known brands such as Security Bank and Mossimo. I've received incentives for winning nationwide writing competitions organized by Petron, one of the Philippines' major fuel companies, and Scribd, Inc., the well-known digital reading platform, also recognized my writing and gave me an incentive for writing about the company.
I'm naturally curious, not because I'm trying to impress people, but because I genuinely enjoy understanding how things work. I'm always open to opportunities to grow as a young professional, entrepreneur, writer, and teacher. I also taught myself how to code and program, which reflects my belief that learning does not always have to happen inside a classroom. Sometimes, curiosity is enough to get you started.
I first considered International Relations at Ateneo de Manila University before deciding to pursue Communication. I also went through the admission process for several programs at the University of Santo Tomas, including Engineering, and passed the interviews for the departments I applied to — high-requirement programs I was grateful to be considered for before choosing Communication. Later on, I was pre-qualified for an MBA at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). At the University of Santo Tomas High School, my mother and I were also invited to meet the Vice President of the United States of America — one of many experiences that exposed me to people from different industries, cultures, and backgrounds at a young age.
I've had more than 1,000 hours of English conversations with people from A1 to C2 levels, from at least 60 nationalities across different continents. Every student is different — some want to improve pronunciation, some want to speak more naturally, others simply need a comfortable place to practice English without fear of making mistakes. I believe curiosity, confidence, respect, and comfort speaking with people from different walks of life matter just as much in teaching English as grammar and vocabulary do.
Today I work with clients who reach out to me for book consultancy — book development and writing consultancy, helping people turn their ideas into something meaningful and well-written. At 23, I sold my first real estate property, contributing ₱10 million in revenue for the company. As a young entrepreneur, I worked with technology manufacturers in China and received Android tablets in exchange for honest product feedback. I've also worked with companies involved in partnerships with international luxury brands such as Versace and Armani, and have been invited to work with companies including Nestlé and luxury car brands.

I've had the opportunity to give to and spend time with orphaned children, widows, and the elderly — experiences that taught me the importance of kindness, patience, and genuine human connection. For me, service is at the heart of everything I do, and at the heart of service is love for what I do. Education has always been part of my life; my parents were former owners of Montessori schools in the Philippines, so I grew up seeing the value of teaching and helping others learn.
I believe in the power of language, the humanities, beauty, art, hope, and, most importantly, dreams. I once wrote that beauty is a culture's memory — it is who we were and what we had hoped to become. Language allows us to understand one another, while books, art, and stories remind us of what it means to be human. And I believe in dreams: to dream is to make life interesting. It gives us something to look forward to, something to work toward, and sometimes, a reason to keep going.
They are filled with sun, rain, spice, and salt; with laughter and sorrow, wisdom and folly. Writing is the art of living beyond limits, the act of capturing the ineffable, the gift of tracing infinity with a single hand. I have walked through cities that both exist and have never existed, tasted the salt of oceans as they reached the shore, felt the heat of a sun-scorched courtyard in Morocco and the gentle crackle of a fire in a hut on the steppe. Reading and writing are twin voyages — when I read, I drink from wells dug by passersby of history; when I write, I touch history with my own words. To imagine someone pausing, breathing in a sentence I sculpted, and seeing in it something of themselves — that is pure euphoria, without fanfare.
